Terms of Service

Last updated and effective:

Rove is a hosted browser service for AI agents and developers, operated by NonceLogic (“we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of roveapi.com, the account dashboard, the Rove API and the hosted MCP endpoint. By using Rove, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy is part of this agreement.

1. Accounts and sign-in

Rove supports email sign-in links, API keys and OAuth grants for connected clients. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and API keys secure, for the OAuth grants you approve, and for activity you or your agents authorize through your account. Share access only with people and clients you trust.

2. Credits and metering

Rove records usage in credits, maintains your credit balance and credit ledger, and meters supervised minutes per session. You agree to pay for the usage and purchases you authorize at the prices shown for the service. Payments are handled by Stripe; card details are entered with Stripe and do not reach Rove’s servers.

You are responsible for your spending and auto top-up settings. If you enable auto top-up, you authorize charges to your saved payment method according to those settings. Review your balance, usage and settings in the dashboard, and contact us about billing questions.

3. Acceptable use

You or your agent instruct the browser. You are responsible for the sites, accounts, and instructions you bring to Rove, including having permission to access those accounts and act on those sites. Do not use Rove in a way that breaks the law or a third party’s terms, infringes others’ rights, or attempts unauthorized access to systems or data.

4. Human supervision

A person can watch a supervised session live, take exclusive control of the browser, and return control to the agent. While a person holds control, agent actions are refused. After control is returned, the agent must get a fresh accessibility tree or screenshot before acting again. You are responsible for the actions you and your agents take.

The live view is streamed to the viewer while the session runs; it is not saved as a recording. Session artifacts, including screenshots and video when you enable recording, are separate from that live stream and are described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Session content and profiles

Rove processes the pages and content your browser sessions access and returns results and artifacts to you. Supervised browser profiles keep cookies and site storage so sign-ins can persist between sessions. Session content, artifacts, profiles and related records are stored and kept as described in the Privacy Policy, including how to clear profiles or request deletion. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the content you ask Rove to process.

6. Availability and changes

Rove is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that the service will meet every requirement. The service may change over time.

When we change these terms, we update them on this page and move the date at the top. Your continued use of Rove after the updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, NonceLogic is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use Rove. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
